Boulders Beach - Part 1

One of the best beaches to visit in Cape Town is Boulders Beach. It's part of the South African National Parks and an entrance fee is required, but that also keeps the number of visitors down. The beach is well protected from wind and the water is shallow where you enter, making it very family friendly. The best part is that the African penguins hang out here!

Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve - Part 3

We arrived at our destination and some of us explored the walking paths near the lighthouse. Cape Point is at the tip of the Cape Peninsula and 60 km from Cape Town. We road the funicular to the top. On our way back to the parking lot, we saw the baboons scavenging and harassing visitors with food. It's not permitted to feed them, because this will only perpetuate the problem.

Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve - Part 2

Here are more photos of our scenic drive through the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Our destination was Cape Point. I'll end off the series next week with photos of that location.

Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve - Part 1

During the December Holiday, we visited Cape Point with my mom and step-dad. It's a scenic drive through the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The day was gorgeous with blue skies and white clouds.
