Living in Wine Country - Part 3

We live in the Western Cape, in the beautiful wine region of South Africa. We don't have to go far to find interesting things to photograph. I've chosen some of my favorite photos from this past year. Some I posted before, but some - like these geese - are new. And, just as much as I enjoy going wine tasting, I also enjoy photographing the animals that we see.

Living in Wine Country, South Africa

Amanda has been blessed experiencing a variety of things like "riding" a horse near the vineyards in Rawsonville and watching tortoises in the Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden.

Living in Wine Country - Part 1

Let me introduce myself: I'm Christina Morley, an author and photographer living in this neat corner of the world.

Living in South Africa's beautiful wine country is fascinating. I get to take lots of pictures and show you a side of South Africa that you will probably never see on TV or in magazines.

I'm taking a look back through the year and sharing some of my favorite shots, including ones that I'm sharing for the first time. Today's set of pictures are of the wildlife we see in our garden almost everyday, except for the green moth with touches of red, which found its way on our balcony.
